Welcome to our animal gallery.

The animal pictures in this gallery were taken in Africa, North and Central America, Asia and the Pacific Rim--these are not zoo pictures! The animal pictures in the Africa category were taken in several countries, mostly in southern Africa and Madagascar. Most of the animal pictures in the Other category were taken on various trips over a period of several years, though there are a few from my own back yard. If you have a particular interest in birds, lemurs, or some other type of photo that strikes your fancy, I encourage you to check out our other picture galleries.
