Welcome to our insect gallery.

The insect pictures, butterfly pictures, and other photos in this gallery were taken in the USA, Costa Rica, Africa, and a few other places. Some were photographed in my own back yard. Every insect picture, butterfly picture, and other photo was taken in a natural state with no manipulation of the subject matter. For convenience, the category of insect pictures also includes some things that are technically not insects (e.g., spider pictures), and the category of butterfly pictures also includes moth pictures. I think you'll agree that some of the moth pictures (e.g., the owl moth picture in particular) are as spectacular as any butterfly pictures you'll ever see. I hope you enjoy your visit.
