Ohio Distinctive Software protects the privacy of children. We use our best efforts to include only adults in our customer database. To help us in ensuring the privacy of children, please make sure that the name and email address you provide us when registering or ordering is an adult's name and email address. Thank you for helping us to promote child safety and privacy.

For the purposes of communication, marketing, and order fulfillment, Ohio Distinctive Software may collect basic information (e.g., your name, address, gender, email address, products ordered, etc).  We will not rent or sell your email address unless you have given us advance permission, or except as required by law, or except as part of a complete transfer of our email list in the event of a company merger, acquisition, spin off, dissolution or other major corporate change. We do not keep a record of customers’ credit card numbers from orders placed at our website after credit card orders have been processed.

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to ensure your information is protected. We encrypt your personal information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with 128-bit encryption. At our site, your personal information is available only to authorized computers behind our secure firewall, and is only accessible by our employees who manage this information for purposes related to fulfilling your orders, or based on your request for information.

If you have received an email solicitation from us, you have either a) registered with us or requested to be added to our customer database, or b) you have purchased from us in the past and have an existing relationship with us, or c) you were referred by a friend through our "refer a friend" program. To unsubscribe from our email list, click on the appropriate link included in each email promotion. If you receive email that appears to be a security warning from Ohio Distinctive Software, or one that contains an attachment, please do not open it. We do not send such emails, nor do such emails originate with us, as we are extremely strict about our security and virus-protection procedures. It is common for viruses and worms to contain forged headers.

Ohio Distinctive Software does, from time to time, offer products for sale via direct mail campaigns to both existing customers and new prospects.  For direct mail customers, unless you inform us that you do not wish to be contacted by any outside party, we do occasionally make our direct mail customer list available to companies who have products and services that we think might be of interest to you.  You can opt out of receiving any such solicitations at any time by emailing helpdesk@ohio-distinctive.com or calling 614.459.0453.  Please allow approximately one week for your account to be updated.

Ohio Distinctive Software may employ cookies in order to securely process web orders and track referrals. We do not rent or sell information that may result from the use of cookies.

Although we do not anticipate the need to ever modify our privacy policy, we reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy, either to better protect your interests or to promote legitimate interests of our own. If we do make any material changes to this policy, we will post a notice of said privacy policy changes, along with effective date, on this page of our website.
