Changing Printer Driver (corrects crooked columns when printing from the nutrition programs)
Create an additional printer installation in Windows and assign a generic text-only driver to it – this will allow you to print your information correctly:
- Double Click on the "(My) Computer" icon on your desktop or in the Start menu, and then access the Control Panel.
- Click on the "Printers and Other Hardware" or "Printers and Faxes" folder.
- Click on the “File” menu, choose “Add Printer,” and click “Next.”
- Choose “Local printer attached to this computer” and click “Next.”
- Use the LPT 1 Port, and click “Next.”
- Choose “Generic” under Manufacturer, and “Generic/Text Only” under Printers. Click “Next.”
- Choose “Keep existing driver (recommended)” and click “Next.”
- You can keep the Generic name, but DO NOT choose to make this your default printer! Choose “No” and click “Next” then complete the installation.
- To print from the nutrition program, from the drop-down menu in your print dialog box choose the generic, text-only printer that you created.
