Print Screen Instructions (Printouts from CDs) - To print screenshots or text appearing on the screen:

Windows

1. Bring up what you want to print on your PC monitor screen.
2. Maximize the window (top right corner) to increase the area shown.
3. Press the "Print Screen" (or "PrtScn") button on your keyboard.
4. This copies the contents of the screen to the clipboard.
5. Click on Start, go to (All) Programs, locate "Accessories," then "Paint."
6. This opens MS Paint.
7. Go the "Edit" menu and choose "Paste."
8. The "screenshot" will then appear in the Paint Window.
9. Go the file menu and print in the usual way.

Macintosh

1. Bring up what you want to print on your PC monitor screen.
2. On the keyboard, press the Apple key – Shift – 3 to capture the whole screen, or press Apple – Shift – 4 to select the area of the screen that you wish to capture.
3. The screen capture will appear as a document on your desktop.
